I used to wear a polar heart rate monitor. They are very accurate but the batteries don't last well and you can't change them yourself--have to send the whole thing back for $--and they replace it.

I also often wear these compression knee socks--cotton and feel really great!

Glenp, My heart rate is all over the place, too. Not so, my blood pressure which is always low. I'm currently reading Cort's article about Dr. Light and his suggested treatment. Going to take it to the doctor. The compression socks/stockings are another good idea.

My reaction on the tilt table was immediate and severe. My heart rate rises very rapidly when I stand up. Wish I could find an autonomic specialist.
