I suggest to add: 8/ too many speculations, remove the theories with poor/no arguments (lack of rigour, good models), it should match the facts, period and 9/ the research topics are lead and locked by the majority.
And maybe 10/ The lack of scientific openness or simply scientific skills of some researchers.
