Interesting video, maybe more relevant to men but towards the end talks about different examples of patients and does have an example of a female patient.

Initially he does make it sound like a cure but as he goes along he brings in examples of cfs patients and how's its greatly improved their quality of life.
It's worth watching👍

Yeah, even though my testosterone is decent for my age, my doctor wanted me to try it. I did a trial more than once - maybe the worst intervention I've tried. Made every muscle in my body feel like it was tearing itself apart. It sounded so promising, which is why I tried again.

That's what's so difficult - we all react to things differently.

Yep, we all react differently.
Also the different forms of testosterone can be very different. Many react poorly to transdermal gels as they basically shut down your normal production but don't supply enough to make any sort of impact and for some they can be worse off.

Some people can take awhile to dial it in as well as balance aromatisation. But many guys get their 1 shot a week and are fine. You never know unless you try.

For me it's been the icing on the cake. Antivirals got me so far and testosterone replacement improved my energy and general recovery ability as well as ease those niggling old man back and knee pains.

My top 3 treatments are zopiclone, famvir and testosterone. Take one away and I'd be a mess.

There is an intriguing way for men to increase their natural production of testosterone, and this is by shining a red or infrared light on the scrotum and testicles, as described in this article.

Therapeutic use of red or infrared light on the body tissues is known as photobiomodulation.

The trick is getting the light dose right, as too little or too much light will prevent the benefits from manifesting (the article details how to calculate the light dose).

Is this also recommended for women?

A female friend of mine started on testosterone over a year ago and has experienced a large improvement in her fatigue but she doesn’t have ME/CFS.

I, a male, tried testosterone and experienced no change other than an increase in acne.

Women produce testosterone although alot less than men, so if your levels are low then theoretically it could help.

As a man I've found it very helpful. My testosterone levels were below normal. I also treat other aspects that are an issue in my cfs like chronic infections, sleep, pace myself etc.
