Hi-

I am new here.

I was first hit with this in 1984. God only knows what it was but it came on very strong and left me disabled in about 2 weeks.

Over the years I have had many symptoms, but in the last two, things crashed.

-Mild thrombocytopenia (85-100 range) (Hematologist in monitoring)
Mild Neutropenia (1.5 range)
Pain- Lots of bone pain and muscle pain-
Fatigue- like you know- can't make it to the other side of room
Parathesias all the way up to my knees. Neuro said, "Can't find anything wring"
Premature Ventricular and Atrial contractions: Cardiologist says they are harmless
Depression
Brain fog
Elevated Bilirubin
Elevated Vit b 12
In blood they found both EBV and CMV old infections.

So life is hell and I am poor so I can't afford a lot. But I have used herbs that seemed to help- the ones that are anti viral in nature such as olive leaf and oregano oil and grapeftruit seed extract.

hi you say you have high B12 have you been taking supplements it,s usually harmless but some people can react to it link here http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Side-Effects-Of-Vitamin-B12&id=816035 if not thats strange but it can apparently be caused by bacteria in the intestine link http://www.yourhealthbase.com/vitamin_B12.html EBV and CMV tests can be hard to interperate but what you've been told that there old infections that arn't active any more is proberly right if you've had an infection in the past you can get positive resualts for life link http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/ebv/test.html you say you have been helped by olive leaf etc which may inticate that you do have an underlying infection, thrombocytopenia can be caused by infections heres a link to possible causes http://www.merck.com/mmpe/sec11/ch133/ch133f.html I noticed in this list that SLE(systemic lupus erythematosis) is included it can be mistaken for CFS! and should be ruled out if it hasn't already been done. it's known amongst the medical community as the great imposter because it can present with the same symptoms as hundreds of conditions, theres also alot of different meds on this list check to see if your taking any of them hope this helps all the best
