When I went to NC I insisted his Doc do an MrI since the pain was all on left side. He thought the pain was all in my son's head. ( Fibromyalgia) I also got him a new doc which is an internist not a GP. He got his results right away on the computer and told him about the MRI. The old doc who I am sure they sent a report to.
Has not called him but set him up with a Neurosurgeon in December. He just got that in the mail yesterday an appt with a Neuro.
The new internist said no. I am setting you up with an Orthopedic specialist right away.
The new doc told him he was not crazy. He had all these symptoms of pain because of the discs one seems to be really major or something.
He is staying on his depression med.
Son who is 30 and in pain on left side. Just wanted all of you to know!! Some docs jump to conclusions and of course you know his old doc doesnt believe in fibro or Cfs.
I am going to cancel his appt with Dr Klimas.
