I had a young friend with chronic excruciating sinus pain. His turned out to be caused by MSG; he was a student living on ramen noodles.

Not to malign your probably excellent diet! But this seemed a good place to stick that information.

I think mine are caused by allergies to pollen. I wonder if moving to a dry desert-like climate would make a difference?

It would definitely make a huge difference, as long as you didn't have or develop allergies to anything there.
