I have been dealing with mild fatigue and severe brain fog for 3 years and since 1 year ago the fatigue became severe also, and then I found out that it is strongly related to my sleep because 1. I felt like my sleep was unrefreshing 2. it elevated when I was sleeping on my side with a wedge pillow (which is typical with sleep apnea), problem is that sleeping on my side feels really uncomftrable and I always wake stiff, so I got an at home sleep study which showed everything is fine even tough something is clearly wrong so I made an appointment to a sleep doc and I want to ask for an in lab study and also ask her about if I possibly have uars (a form of sleep apnea which at home sleep study cant detect) but since I feel like doctors dont take me seriously im thinking about just changing my sleeping but I believe that the sleep thing plays a part to why I had debilitating brain fog for so long so should I try to push toward getting help with this problem. thanks.

Most definitely! Sleep apnea is an important problem. It isn't easy to find a doctor that listens, but it's well worth it if you can.
it isn't easy to find a doctor that listens with anything basically, if your problem isn't very easy to solve they would just blame it on stress and leave you suffering from my experience
