Seeking replacement for Alka-Seltzer Gold

I believe it was this forum where I first learned about using Alka-Seltzer Gold to counter acidity from herx reactions. I’ve just used up a big supply I’d purchased a while back and have learned it’s been discontinued. Is there a product out there that’s essentially the same thing? (basically potassium and sodium bicarbonates without any drugs added) If not, what’s the next best thing?

Thanks for going to the trouble to find those links. I'll keep that handy in case it comes to that. Meanwhile, I'll hope someone may know of a pre-made alternative. Thanks again!

Well, that's even easier to find with a search (if you don't live in my country, where they don't send it): https://at.iherb.com/pr/alka-seltzer-gold-36-effervescent-tablets/86254
Thanks again for finding this link. On my end it shows Out of Stock. I understand the company has discontinued making it. Your initial reply got me looking into sodium bicarbonate, extended release capsules. I'm a bit concerned about my kidneys, and this may actually be better for me than Alka-seltzer Gold. We'll see.

you could also try some mineral water with high hydrogencarbonate content (like over 1500mg/l). that works for me good.

hydrogencarbonate is similiar to sodiumbicarbonate.

Could you elaborate? A quick search found benefits with kidney disease.

Which is also my experience. 16 years ago I realized with an online calculator and my lab tests, that I already would qualify for CKD stage 1. Soon it was gone. I took in average 6.7 g/d of bicarbonates (hydrogen-, sodium-, and potassium bicarbonate; in total).
