I have a question for anyone who is able to answer it. Due to the lack of serious interest and really concerning physicians, I started to make my own medical file. I have ordered bloodtests to determine my cytokines, CD4/CD8, NKcells, XMRV etc...

Now I'm seeing a cardiologist who is williing to test me for about everything concerning ME/CFS.
What kind of tests, concerning my hearth of course, are necessary to complete my own medical file?
What can you recommend and why?

Thank you very much in advance. You are a big help to me!

Love,
Berthe

Hi Berthe,
I would recommend you:

Blood Volume Measurement
Chronic fatigue syndrome
One million Americans are reported to suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome. Low blood volume has been reported as a factor in this condition. Preliminary studies have shown that some patients with this condition do have low blood volume and can benefit from treatment. A blood volume measurement can help distinguish these patients from patients whose symptoms are unrelated to blood volume abnormalities.

Plasma Norepinephrine and Plasma Epinephrine
Both are increased in:
Dysautonomia (common in ME/CFS) and Low Blood Volume/Low Cardiac Output (common in ME/CFS)
Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (ANP)
ANP is increased by:
Endotoxin (leaky gut), Proinflammatory Cytokines, Oxidative stress (all common in ME/CFS)
Colloid Osmotic Pressure (COP)
COP is increased by:
Low Plasma Volume (common in ME/CFS)

I hope you find them useful

Here are some heart related articles.

This first one I don't know much about. You could google on hear lerner cfs

On this next one, according to Bell the only good way to determine blood volume is with a chromium 51 test, which must be done at a university.

On this last one, unless the doctor uses the protocol in the paper, the test won't show anything. It has to be done per the protocol in the paper.
