Saliva testing collection question

I started a cortisol testing this morning. I really have dry mouth in the morning so after 45 minutes I have very little saliva and a lot of foam.

I read (which I can't find now) that I can do it the same time tomorrow to add to what I have, as long as I do it at the same time.

I also know I can restart but I may run into the same issues of dry mouth.

I'm doing 4 a day and if I make a mistake I can rinse the tubes and restart but I'd like to just get this done today.

Sleep meds and allergy stuff gave me cotton mouth. I drank a lot yesterday

I just need to confirm I can add new saliva tomorrow. I wish I could remember where I read that. Shoot
