Hi
@wastwater. (I hope you're not living in CA at the moment.) I think lupus gives a lot of joint problems and while a lot of us have pain, it's not usually in the same category.
As you probably know, the sun and lupus are not good companions, and many people end up with what is commonly known as a butterfly look across their noses (well, around that area).
That's a perfect example of a disease that used to be a killer when I first started nursing (and my career ended not too long after...went on to other things). I don't know when help for patients came along, but it was a killer usually because of things like kidney damage, etc. So progress is made in some areas.
If one lives long enough, huh? Yours, Lenora
