Hi All,
I just discovered these shoes, a little late but hey, and wanted to mention how well they're working.
I found mine, Dr. Scholls fitness walker, at Big Lots but from googling it looks like they're available elsewhere.
The bottoms of my feet have been extra sensitive since coming down with me/cfs. In the beginning,
the pain in my heels was so bad that I'd cry if I had to walk. I could never go barefoot. That got better with
the gf diet but not enough. My feet are still overly sensitive.
These take the pressure off
the balls and heels. Mine don't have enough traction for climbing hills but I'm compensating by digging
my foot into the sand deeper.
Balancing takes a little getting used to but I've only had these 3 days and I think I've got it now. I'm sore in
my quads but nowhere else. I'm actually finding walking easier. Kow. It's a good thing because I'm walking about 3 hours a day right now. Whew.
My new cross trainer Reeboks were useless compared to these. Hth .. X
