hi anyone wondering about strange nail changes may find these sites useful http://dermnetnz.org/hair-nails-sweat/nails.html and http://www.aafp.org/afp/2004/0315/p1417.html be warned some of the pictures ain't pretty, if you have serious concerns about what your nail changes may mean the kind of doctor you need to see is a dermatologist, from my experiance most other doctors are blissfully unaware of the fact that nail changes can help to diagnose conditions all the best
