This is what is so frustrating with Prof Edwards. He'll say none of these things are proven because the studies which found these findings are "bad" studies, ie they're not "proper" studies (too few participants, not double blinded, weak control arms, etc.). There are many intelligent people and scientists who behave and think this way (not necessarily about MECFS). Usually, they're not "do-ers" and compensate by sounding smart rather than constructive.These are things that are proven to be effective for things like inflammation, poor circulation, etc. And then, go after the structural issues--CCI, cerebral spinal fluid blockages, lymphatics backed up, etc. It seems NONE of these things warrant mention by a well educated professor (Edwards) in a major article that speculates on the mechanisms (and potential treatments) for ME/CFS.
