Possible tethered cord, has anyone had TC release surgery?

I suspected prior to my ACDF that I probably had a tethered cord due to EDS. I have markedly more pain in my lower spine plus an increase in other symptoms. My NS wants to wait a few months before we address the issue so I have more time to heal. I am wondering about the recovery from TC release - timeline, improvements (or disappointments). I really am trying to decide if I can tolerate another procedure. I am still stiff, sore, and exhausted from the other procedure. I tend to be slow to heal, so I am pretty concerned.
