Poll: Severe head inflammation before onset?

Was there anything that made you wonder, why you got / caught this, and the others not.

Or seemed it more severe than with others - lasting longer, more pain, more sideeffects?

I don't know exactly when my onset was as I started out with viral symptoms and kept being told it was a virus.. I don't know what what point the probable virus ended and went to ME. One thing I did have before I got diagnosed I had head symptoms so bad that around my eyes swelled (my eyes almost swelled shut) and I hence looked like a bullfrog. I'm yet to hear about anyone else getting that. (I also did have bleeding gums but I don't know at which point)
