Hi guys!
Im interested in opinions and experience, cause im not sure what to do.
I did a poor mans til test, and found out that i have isolated diastolic hypertension, it often goes over 100 while walking (and i have even seen it over 100). Systolic-wise its usually below 140.
Is this something i should try meds for? Im thinking that it happens for a reason, and that medicating it will make me feel worse because of that.. That being said, i find it very uncomfortable to know that my pressure can get that high, and its obviously not good for the arteries in the long run.
does anybody know approx how long one can have this kind of OI before one should get on medication? Or right away?
I read a study on isolated diastolic hypertension which concluded, i think, that it was not predictive of cardiac events.
Sometimes i get low pulse pressure as well, but i read that as long as its not consistent that isnt something to worry about. Can someone confirm or disconfirm?
Background - 24 y old, sick for 4 months. i qualify for SEID, not ME.Had a heart check up last year, all came back fine.
Thanks
