I wanted to tell fellow PWME about how I had to give up nightshades due to the way they caused inflammation and mouth ulcers. It was a difficult experience and I thought anyone with similar problems could benefit from my hindsight.

TLDR I needed a lot more calcium due to the way my muscle pain got a lot worse when I gave them up.

Excluding nightshades also caused my recurrent virus to happen a lot more often. Nightshades appear to be a kind of double edged sword in relation to the immune system. They poison us but at the same time they help kill off infected cells.

I started a research discussion in the research section of Phoenix Rising.

I also blogged my experience to pass on what I learned.
