Researchers from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology came across a virus (the strain of a type of enterovirus G (EV-G) )which defied everything we thought we knew about the infectious agents.This particular virus was discovered in pig faeces.This article should be of interest to those who connect their ME/CFS illness to a virus....see link below...

This enterovirus may be transmitted entirely via exosomes, rather than via virions.

This discovery provides more indirect evidence for the idea that enteroviruses in the nervous system travel from neuron to neuron using exosomes instead of capsid-enclosed virions. There are already other lines of evidence indirectly supporting this idea.

No one has yet performed the experiments that might obtain direct evidence for this idea.
