Has anyone been to a nuero- ophthalmologist? Would be interested in hearing your experience.

I've never heard of a neuro-opthalmologist. Google says they deal with neuro issues presenting in the eyes. I have no input bc I've never seen one, but I have been toying with seeing an ophthalmologist out of pocket to get an opinion on my page long of eye symptoms that are ignored by my other Doctors. Have you seen a neurologist for your symptoms? I paid out of pocket to see a Neurologist who is still the only Dr. who immediately noticed the ptosis I've come to have in the last couple of years. Sorry I don't have more to share with you

I need to find one. I think maybe some exist nearby.
Total failure of eye doctors to address my eye issues. It really depressed me. I even brought my husband with, which did not achieve the better outcome I'd hoped for.
