My list of foods that do not cause digestive issues

Finally, I figured that eggs are highly inflammable too in my case - it's a very sneaky food, I felt almost fine after eating eggs in the morning but it provoked cravings which I could not understand. I also realize now that my intestines got slightly inflamed every time I got eggs.

Dairy - before, I limited it to butter and cottage cheese. Now, I realize it is very similar to eggs in its effects, removed completely but introduced ghee instead.

So, currently the complete list of the foods I eat is: pork, beef, chicken/duck, cucumbers, tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, ghee butter and rice/buckwheat crisps. I drink black coffee with ghee as a dessert.

I also take potassium citrate powder, magnesium citrated powder and calcium citrate powder (around recommended daily dosage) - I figured that water solved minerals are the best way to avoid any digestive issues.

I also drink st john wart to calm my nervous system down and for better sleep.

I am not sure how long will the effects last (it's been around two weeks now), but on this diet first time in I don't remember how many years (probably, more than 25) I have almost zero bloating, spasms, pain or discomfort in my intestines.

All cravings stopped right after I removed eggs/cottage cheese from my diet. I eat only two times per day (plus breakfast - coffee with ghee). And for some reason my daily calorie intake that satiates my is around 1500-1700 calories (I'm 6'1 174lbs).

It feels like other symptoms are slowly improving too, but it is too early to share the results.

I hope this information will be helpful to someone.

Eggs - last few months I've been going back and forth on whether they are identified as trouble or not.
At this point on the calendar, it looks like, it might have been the bacon instead.
But ... results also seem to indicate it is possible to have eggs too frequently and thereby induce problems caused by eggs.

Is frustrating when there are several different things going on with my gut specifically and also my body overall, and a good portion of what to do about this thing directly opposes what to do about that thing.

Several years ago I reached a middle ground point & decided that I was done causing a lot of stress about it, and wearing myself out doing all the this that and the other thing, and depleting my below the poverty level income, and decided, okay, enough of that, I'll dump the "Is This The Correct Food????" stresses and just do what gets me by enough to still have some fun living life.

Dairy had already been gone since around 1981 due to lactose intolerance & it has remained gone.
Except that a couple times a year there is some ice cream eaten.

Hmm ...

I also take potassium citrate powder, magnesium citrated powder and calcium citrate powder (around recommended daily dosage) - I figured that water solved minerals are the best way to avoid any digestive issues.

That bit about water soluble minerals looks very much worth noting.

I had such periods too - always lasted for 3-4 days max, I felt miserable by that time, whole body became rigid, decreasing energy etc.

did you try the egg yolks only?
No, I do not want to experiment at the moment. Current diet is working great and I will stick to it for a while until some tangible results.

But the egg yolks only approach sounds reasonable. Will definitely try it later.

I definitely agree that some foods are tricky. Some foods might produce symptoms the next day, so you test all foods that way. Then you run into a sneaky food that has a 3-day delay, or causes problems only when you have it 4 days in a row, or some such thing. Maybe a food is safe on its own, but causes problems when combined with something else. I have foods I consider safe, foods I consider unsafe, and foods I categorize as "suspicious". The latter foods sometimes seem to trigger symptoms, but other times don't. If I don't have a craving for them, it's safest to avoid them.

Some foods are even trickier, since they can be safe consumed daily for years, then cause problems, so all my "safe" foods are really just "safe at the present".

*sigh* Such a boring diet I have.

It's taken me many years to finally prove to myself certain foods do in fact affect the way I feel...........sometimes in a MAJOR way.

I have found for me to be at my upmost I cannot eat eggs, dairy, wheat/gluten and I have to be careful with too many oils. I've tried many times to see if I could get away with a cheat here or there and sometimes I can but if continue I get hit with a bomb.
