It could be because the above spelling is not correct; it is spelt modafinil.

But what about once a week? just as a booster so if one day a week I decide to do some house chores?
I already take ritalin once a week and it helps me get some stuff done that I would otherwise be too tired to do.

I am not sure if it is available in the UK, but you can buy from Europe here.

I found this drug useful but when I tried a regular intake I got hyperventilation syndrome, it was quite scary;
However I still consider taking it from time to time...

I'm using Modafinil + Heptaminol for post-COVID fatigue and brainfog. The difference it quite drastic, I must say. I'm feeling even better than before having COVID infection.

Modafinil helps me survive work. Only use a small dose of 50mg and occassionally add some caffeine. But usually 2-3 times per week.
There was a study showing it was neuroprotective in people with sleep deprivation, so it aint all bad

Yes. I'm a pharmacist so it's easy to get those at least in my country.

When I was at the height of CFS, a doctor prescribed me Nuvigil. Worked really well for me. I've been off ADHD meds (dextroamphetamine) for half a decade now because I can't afford to see a shrink in my new state after relocation. Last night I bought modafinil at an online pharmacy in some country. Makes me nervous, but I can't deal with unmedicated ADHD and have good quality of life. I do take dopa mucuna (Velvet bean extract) but it's child's play compared to meds.

Has anyone in the US been able to get modafinil? if yes, how did you manage to convince your doctor?
And if you bought it online, which website did you use?

My own doctor prefers to give me ritalin, which has a much higher potential of abuse than modafinil. I dont understand his logic.
