Interestingly, statins also increase bh4 bioavailability.

This is one of the fields I can grasp. BH4 (tetrahydrobiopterin) is a gene (gs224) methylation.
My husband was put on statins due to high blood pressure. Not even 5 months later he became very irritable and often non-empathetic.
I never found the connection and yes I have been reading a lot about it.
