Here's some interesting links on hormones in males and how it can effect us, especially refering to adrenal fatigue, estrogen dominance in men and just getting everything right, even cholesterol. Refers to pregnenolone which is the main hormone all our other hormones are made of. I think this info could really help men out there. Sorry ladies, this is from a mens forum and our chemistry is different but still pregnenolone is a hormone that women can look into which may help them, just dont have anything specific for females.

cheers!!!

Wouldnt u have to take DIM at the same time as u r taking pregnenolone so that estrogen production is limited or something ? I have been thinkg of that protocol for awhile now.

Apparently T levels are down regulated normally by cortisol, if u have adrenal fatigue and low cortisol levels your body will down regulate T by increasing E2, causing estrogen dominance symptoms etc so using pregnenolone can help with cortisol metabolism and reduce estrogen. Pregnenolone seems to have a balancing effect on other hormones and neurotransmitters.

Personally Im using arimidex to lower my E2 and i am feeling alittle better from it and lost some size off my waist and my blood tests show it has lowered my E2 but not quite enough so dr has upped my dose from 1/2mg twice a week to 3 times a week but no effect on my T levels. But have started pregnenolone cream and feeling good with it. I tried DIM and it did nothing to me that i could notice or on blood tests. From my reading they say u dont need an anti estrogen if on pregnenolone, but i will get retested in a few weeks and see how everything is effected.

cheers!!!
