Maraviroc (Celsentri) as a med for xmrv/MLV?

Maraviroc (Celsentri) binds to CCR5, preventing an interaction with gp120. It is also referred to as a "chemokine receptor antagonist" or a "CCR5 inhibitor."

any thoughts on this as a med for xmrv/MLV?

hi Rrrr. XMRV uses XPR1 receptor to get into the cell....HIV uses CCR5....so i dont think that med would help us.
