Low grade fever suggestions?

Hi,.everyone,
One of my bad symptoms is feeling feverish (hot face, warm breath, malaise) for several hours most days.

No pain except a mild sore throat and a normal temp of 98ish. But it does also trigger the negative emotions.

Any suggestions re treatments that worked other than Advil etc?

Ideas re what tests to ask my helpful but new to this GP for? I don't have a specialist and we've only done very basic blood tests so far.
Thanks!

May be related to low cortisol during those hours (having your peak time be off from normal) or food intolerances. Or maybe related to some environmental exposure if you have the same exposure daily. I think it can be stress triggered too (for me anyway) or weather or temp related.

Thanks--have you found anything that helps when you get it?

Peanuts and some dairy cause it for me. I no longer eat those. I suspect some other foods cause it too.

I try not to get cold, because that causes it. Sometimes it's unavoidable.

I think some buildings cause it too. My allergist said it's the HVAC set ups.

I also get it from black mold exposure, and maybe other mold, paint fumes, etc.

I still get it too often, because of weather, stress, or overdoing (PEM). I don't have many ideas on what to do besides avoidance. Tylenol will get rid of the fever, but I don't take it for the low-grade fever.

I read some supplements or meds can help change your cortisol timing, or raise the levels, so I want to look into that someday.

@SickOfSickness Thanks, that's helpful. I've been cheating with the PB so will try to avoid it more. And a good incentive to get the air purifier set up again.

Soy and chickpeas for me too :(

I've also wondered if pesticide residues affect me. I did not test it, but I eat mostly organic or from the Clean 15 list now.
