Long time member Tammy has passed

[maybe some day]

Just got word that Tammy peacefully passed Sat April 12th. We were just chatting on FB messenger a couple of days prior. I've known her over 20 years, and she was a fighter just like all of us. We would pass the time with the occasional phone call and catch up on family, and how the week was going. Tammy mentioned that she wanted her friends here to know how much everyone meant to her, and that she is at peace.

This is… really shocking news to hear about.
I really loved Tammy and am deeply saddened. Although, comforted hearing of her peace.

I REALLY liked / loved and cared about Tammy.

I truly appreciated my interactions with her. She was both intelligent and extremely personable, owning a wonderful sense of humor as well as being an effective story teller. In addition, she had a way about her, always asking me the right questions - which inspired me in myriad ways (creatively and otherwise).

Beyond that, she was the first person who called me when I went into the nursing home back in ’21 (while caught up in the midst of a personal crisis). She was also supportive and readily available back when I spent a number of weeks in the hospital back in 2019 (deathly ill).

I wish her daughter (and other family / friends) well. I’ll miss her.
