I certainly didn't have the miracle recovery by the third day BUT there was a very small improvement just on the basis of removing the negative thoughts aspect and being more mindful about my situation, it enabled me to turn a corner instantly at the start of the onset of my 'true ME' and start using a combination of therapies to move towards recovery.
Removing negative thought aspects is akin to changing your thinking via CBT. It's a very expensive form of CBT. There is an underlying insidious suggestion in LP -- re: changing negative thoughts which is that you are contributing to staying ill related to your thinking. That is such a load of **%%$% that the Lightening Process promotes. I am not sure why people aren't up in arms after paying hundreds of pounds to help you change your negative thoughts and improve mindfulness. Tons of books, dozen of free sites on the internet.
when the LP practitioner called me she was convinced that LP had helped me over that month but in reality it was probably the GCMAF or Rerum.
Well of course she would say that, she is getting loads of cash to tell you lies.
I do think there is definitely some value in the LP and the concept of overriding the immune system with Psychological practice
I think there is absolutely no value in LP and the concept of overriding the immune system with psychological practice has absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever. No research to back it up. It likely works for helping to cope with things like anxiety, depression etc but for actual physical symptoms --no -- for the perception of physical symptoms -- likely but wears off.
I really don't like to see LP promoted in any manner on Phoenix Rising because some people think we support it, we do not. We allow all opinions about therapies and hopefully those who haven't heard about Lightening Process make the decision not to do it.
