So I had a consult today with a very well known doctor in the Autoimmune Encephalitis world and she basically agrees that the presence of autoantibodies (AChR, SP1), High inflammation markers (ESR, CRP, Haptoglobin) and a positive response to IVIG & slight response to plasmapheresis that I definitely have some mild form of autoimmune encephalopathy which are two different things..

I should have asked her this during the interview but it slipped my mind (brain fog). Is there a difference between encephalopathy and Encephalitis? I was always under the assumption that they were one I'm the same.
