Sorry to double post, but some people dont surf both forums so I thought Id chuck it in here as well.
It appears a large subset of POTS patients have increased endothelial and neuronal nitric oxide levels leading to increased vasodilation specific to the stomach region.

Other subgroups appear to have the opposite - reduced neuronal nitric oxide levels and increased angiotensin II levels.
