Big takeaways (my thoughts)

Ron Davis' team is getting ready to test patient samples for presence of the IDO trap
Infections: Ron plans to test for RNA viruses, fungi and bacteria; DNA viruses and parasites(most) are done
And, Ron's looking into developing a PEM wearable device based on a sweat sensor

David Andersson has discovered that autoantibodies cause pain in FM; wants to study ME/CFS IgG next

Jesper Mehlser has discovered autoantibodies targeting the autonomic nervous system in HPV-ME/CFS; is interested in Andersson's FM discovery

Dr. Fluge is working to understand the negative result of the RituxME Trial; is very interested in Andersson's
FM discovery and Davis' nanoneedle

Dr. Klimas: is awaiting IRB approval to begin her ME/CFS "Homeostasis Reset" treatment trial; her clinic's Integrative Medicine treatments for ME/CFS patients are based on existing research findings and are available now

Please tell me the will test tissue samples, not just the blood.

@S-VV, In his talk he didn't mention testing tissue I assume its blood. In the past he's said experts tell him if there's an infection anywhere in the body a marker of it can be found in the blood.

During the Q&A he was asked a very provocative question along the lines of "Given that all of your (and others) past testing for viruses have yielded negative results why continue to test for them at all?"

He answered: RNA viruses are important, they may be present in the intestinal tract. RNA is difficult to work with it degrades quickly. But we're working on it.
