How to get out of a folate trap? I need advice

Hello. After taking glutathione, I started to feel sick. In some blood tests my vitamin B9 is very low, which has made me think that I am in a methyl trap. I have read a lot of the information on the forum, including the active b12 protocol.

The first thing I would like to know is if any of you who had the same methyl trap problem had your blood tested to check what your b9 and b12 levels were.

Regarding the methyl trap, I have doubts, should I first correct the deficiency with b9 and b12? Should I take more b9 than B12? Could this cause an imbalance in the other B vitamins? Has anyone managed to solve their problem with the methyl trap? If so, how did they do it?

get a cholin source,
egg yolks (multiple a day), or methionin. or phosphatidylcholine.. but eggs are best

and a glycine source like bone broth.

obtener una fuente de colina,
yemas de huevo (varias al día) o metionina. o fosfatidilcolina... pero los huevos son mejores

y una fuente de glicina como caldo de huesos.

Thanks for answering. Do you know anything about group B vitamins? I have neuropathic pain, it is unbearable

............,......

Gracias por responder. ¿Sabes algo sobre las vitaminas del grupo B? Tengo dolor neuropático, es insoportable.

neuropathy can sometimes be treated with benfotiamine.
in germany they sell a combination of benfotiamine+alpha lipoic acid.
in general a good vitamin D level can help with pain. and maybe add to healing.

Neuropatía a veces puede ser tratada con benfotiamina.

En Alemania venden una combinación de benfotiamina + ácido alfa lipoico.

En general, un buen nivel de vitamina D puede ayudar con el dolor y tal vez contribuir a la curación.

Hello. Thank you so much for answering. First I have to correct my folic acid levels, which are very low and I don't know if I should combine it with B12 or other B vitamins.

Sorry for answering in Spanish, I didn't realize.

i do not know much about folat trap, just know there need to be enough methyl groups and those come from choline and methionine. folat is just a carrier not a source. you need enough of b12, b6, folat and a methyl group source.
glycine acts as methylgroup buffer, if there are too much its bound to glycine and if there is too less the methylated glycine acts as source too.
thats contrary to nicotinamid, which acts as sponge, but doesnt give back.

there are multiple forms of folat like methylfolate, folinic acid and folic acid. folic acid i would not take if you can tolerate the others. folinic acid is also passive form but more bio available than folic acid.
