Many of us may suffer from heavy metal toxicity, these substances have many ways to cause significant damage to the body including mitos membrane disfunction, inducing autoimmunity, inflammatory cytokines, lipid peroxidation, excitotoxicity, free radical formation, reducing cellular glutathione levels, DNA damage, inhibiting glucose transport, enzyme function, blocking/inhibiting methylation pathways etc.
