Hair and nails grow faster during crashes

I have noticed when I’m at my sickest my nails and hair grow really fast. Has anyone else experienced this? My hair isn’t as thick as it once was and my nails are starting to get ridges but they do grow fast.

I haven't noticed this, but I wish it would happen to me! I had to chop some length off my hair recently, it wasn't looking good. Did you do any research online to see what the nail ridges could be?
