The great Graham McPhee (@Graham) passed away yesterday.

He was an exemplary citizen-scientist who helped expose problems with the PACE trial and co-authored a paper on the insufficient monitoring of harm in CBT/GET clinics.

He was also an all-around good guy liked by all.

We've written a letter to NICE,
I do hope they'll take our advice;
The evidence plainly
Shows CBT mainly
Helps those who are getting their slice

Of fees from insurance concerns,
And profits from CBT firms;
But patients, meanwhile,
Are led up the aisle!
False treatments bring harmful returns.

I remember Graham as being sincere, with friendly posts and thoughtful of others. He mentioned that he wasnt going to post much, if at all, around 2018. In peace Graham

I especially remember his support of Bob Courtney in the year before he died about three years ago.

He was a wonderful person. Always kind and patient.

His passing comes as a shock to me. I will miss him.
