Can't understand why genes are given such an important role having lived quite happily with my own for 63 years before ME struck (over late diagnosis of hypothyroidism much more likely though I've probably some inherited weakness - maybe HH infections - previously controlled though).

Is Autism related to inherited infection in the nervous system (as developing) I wonder.

What my genes - it's a cop out. Susceptability to certain infections maybe.
