Getting homocysteine test next week - what can I do with it?

Having some other blood work done next week, and the doctor asked if I'd like anything else checked. I remember seeing homocysteine as a valuable one, so I asked him to add it.

What exactly am I looking for in a range, and what useful things can I do with the number to help with my supplements?

I also asked for methylfolate and B12, but these are a little easier to apply.

homocysteine test can indicate even when in normal range someone probably having a MTHFR mutation. My specialist knew i had MTHFR mutation just from my homocysteine test though it was in range.. (I then had MTHFR mutation testing and he was right.

Test came back 7.5 umol/L - guess I'm doing something right.
