Filgotinib (JAK1 inhibitor) future of CFS/ME treatment?

I have tried 3 days of Filgo along with 7 days of Rinvoq with no side effects nor any positive effects. I am not sure what to make of it, if I should continue or switch to Antivirals.
I’d be doing both antivirals and JAK STAT inhibitors together. The reason is because part of the problem with ME/CFS is while immune system is exhausted especially T Cell exhaustion putting an immune inhibitor would reduce an immune response activity somewhat more. And those pesky viruses which should be more dormant are able to keep the immune response turned on.. which is possibly one of the reasons why T Cells are exhausted as a constantly fighting low level viral activation..

I think if you did the two pronged method . i.e. suppress viral activity long enough, that T Cell
exhaustion recovers and at the same time the JAK STAT inhibitors are able to stop the cellular signalling loop that seems to permanently lock those cells into their near hibernation like state.

I think this is why some people (like myself) on just JAK STAT inhibitors aren’t responding. We really need an anti-viral at the same time to suppress their activity while the JAKs do their job.. otherwise it’s just a game of Whack-a-Mole.

I’d be really interested to know how you get on if you choose to do the anti-viral and the JAKs together.

BTW What antiviral are you considering?

Alright. I have ample supply of Upa, Filgo and Bari, 30 pills each. I will be ordering Valcyte and Valtrex. Maybe might try together.

I got it from Indiamart. I live in Singapore. So India is not too far away. Of course it depends on getting a reputable vendor. These are generic drugs.

You contact them via whatsapp and just go back and forth to get the deal done.

I am using Keshavdas and Sons, so far one package of JKi has delivered. I have ordered my antivirals from them as well but we will see.

My plan, if JKi standalone does not work, is to go antivirals and also immune boosting supplements and herbs, like Dr Michael Moran (@internetuser12) on X talks about.

If I don't respond to JKi maybe it isn't an innate immune loop. Maybe it's really a pathogen. If that's the case then we need to boost immune system as well as I heard Valtrex/Valcyte does something in bone marrow and lowers your T-cell production.

I was looking at getting some antivirals online. A price came up of over £500. Is this typical?
