That's certainly my case. Fatty liver with elevated ALT and GGT. No history of obesity/alcoholism.How common is Fatty liver amongst CFS & ME patients?
How many of you have elevated alanine transaminase on a liver function test? I'm particuarly interested if there are any who do not have the risk factors eg alcoholism or obesity or excessive consumption of fats and oils.
Liver doctor suspects it's viral, but didn't order any more tests. However, I did just get a positive EBV test from an outside lab. I'll talk to my doc about that result at my next appointment.
