Dr Myhill is now treating Lyme and co. I wonder how long before most of her patients are testing positive. I think she is using infectolab in Germany. I don't think he is taking on new patients and only treats with orals so far!

It's good that Dr M is offering these tests. My worry however is that since these infections are horrendously difficult to treat, some patients will be left worse-off by following a one-size-fits-all "protocol" (e.g. metronizadole left me in a permanently worsened state to which my baseline has never recovered).

Yes Garcia, this is my concern - you really need someone who knows what they are doing - perhaps following ILADS guidelines? I believe the wrong sort or length of treatment can lead to cystic forms developing that are then harder to treat? Perhaps this is the beginning of her learning and she will get better at treating it? nbot sure how that will go down with the GMC?

Yup, I know of a couple of CFS specialists that told me they are seeing a major spike in Lyme positive test results in their new patients. Apparently the number of Lyme infections has risen considerably in the last couple of years.

But nothing to worry about. Move along. Just "the pains of daily living", you know...

I don't have Lyme. Dietrich Klinghardt, in a vid that is now several years old, believes that Lyme is now endemic, does not need a tick bite, and is transferred to newborns. I'm not current with his work, if there's been any change in his understanding.

I met a woman at the KDM's clinic who was positive for Lyme but perfectly healthy her son however was ill Klinghardt may be right...
