Glaxo Smith Kline, a UK based pharma giant and a major vaccine (inc MMR) manufacturer was recently fined 3 billion dollars for bribery and corruption. Three BILLION. For bribing and corrupting doctors, so they push GSK drugs on patients.

Now some would say that this is a newsworthy story. THREE BILLION dollars. For bribing and corrupting doctors. A major company, with UK headquarters. Behaving like a drug cartel, in full daylight. Caught with pants down. Punished. Three f****g billion dollar fine, and they actually got off lightly according to own executives.

Guess how many major UK media outlets reported this story, extensively? Zero, by my latest count.

Now some people would try and pass this as irrelevant. A coincidence. In the same way that autism in some kids appears magically out of nowhere the night after the vaccine, by coincidence :eek::eek: Zero proof that vaccines can trigger any disease  When they do, we won't write about it anyway. Go back to bed.

Well said Natasa778. Watch your BP! My sympathies. I too am so angry sometimes I could have a stroke. There is no law as yet, to charge the CEO's of these companies with criminal activity. There is a wonderful Scots Barrister by the name of Polly Higgins (see youtube) who is attempting to bring in a new Act to make such people criminally liable and open to prosecution. She is currently calling for an Act of Ecocide. doing this as a protection to our natural environment. Maybe one day it will extend to all Companies.
Fines are just "a part of businessexpense" is what these guys say now. Even Billions doesn't make a dent.

You mean that even if they commit a crime such as corruption in the course of their business activity they cannot be charged with anything? What about harm to others as a direct result of their company's practices? This means nothing?

This is Polly's proposed 5th Act of a crime against Humanity - the Crime of Ecocide. Wherein CEO's of Companies can be made criminally liable for the damage caused to the environment, (and hence to the inhabitants of that environment,) by their Companies. What she is saying is that fines which already are in place, do not prevent these crimes from happening and are not protecting us or the environment.
As the law stands at the moment, if a crime committed by a large Corporation has been approved by the Board of that Corporation, then the individual CEO cannot be held responsible . The Corporation is taken to court, not the CEO. If an individual within a large Corporation commits fraud, or some other form of corruption, then that is a civil crime for which he or she can be individually punished. And also fired by the Company of course.
As I understand it if the crime committed is Corporate and is committed against humanity i.e. as in the 4 crimes against humanity which already exist (explained in Polly's video) then the only redress the people have at this moment in time, is to take that Corporation to court and they will be fined. And what Polly is saying is that in such crimes against the Environment Fines are not solving the issue. These guys think nothing of billions of dollars.
What I was saying is that Pharmaceutical Corporations should also be included in these crimes against Humanity. The crime of exploiting and selling unsafe vaccines to the people would be one example. If one man is held liable and could be found guilty he would serve a hefty prison sentence, much more effective one would imagine that forking out a few billion dollars.

What will the law do?
A law of Ecocide does three main things, it is a law to prevent, prohibit and restore. A law of Ecocide acts as a preventative ‘think before you act’ mechanism to put a stop to business practices giving rise to ecocide. Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) will not continue destructive business if they could potentially be held personally liable for committing Ecocide, and face criminal prosecution. Heads of states are unlikely to permit such criminal activity. Shareholders won’t invest and banks also won’t loan if they could face criminal prosecution for funding criminal activity. It will actually make sense to invest in green business. Investment and subsidies will be redirected to cleaner energies and create green jobs.
