What dosages are people taking of the supplements in these protocols and what brands are you using? How long did it take you to build up to the current dosages? I have such a hard time retaining info (especially numbers) I'm just hoping to reference one thread instead of looking through 10 threads to find snippets of info.
I realize ideally testing would be done, and everyone responds/reacts differently so there are no 'right' answers. I'm just looking for ranges, good dosages to start with and how much is too much? I saw this link and it made me curious: http://www.acu-cell.com/bx.html
For example, I think someone mentioned 50 mg was a high amount for B6. I was taking 150 mg for a couple days and had increased headaches and motion sickness. Rich's protocol uses 1/4 tab of FolaPro and he's mentioned some people may respond to very little of it, such as that covering the end of a toothpick. I'm now taking a whole tab (800 mcg) of FolaPro and haven't noticed adverse effects from it. Mind you I've also been taking it will supps that contain Folic Acid (B-Right and Country Life Ab12). I've yet to determine if I have a problem with Folic Acid.
It's difficult to find a B complex without Folic Acid in it. I ordered Thorne Research B-Complex #5 yesterday http://www.iherb.com/Thorne-Research-B-Complex-5-60-Veggie-Caps/18132?at=0
I didn't realize at the time that Thorne Research also have 5 other B-Complex formulations with different dosages of the various components. http://www.iherb.com/Search?kw=thorne+research,+b+complex
How would you know if you need more Pantothenic Acid vs. B6 for example? And what are the ideal forms that these vitamins should be derived from?
Hopefully this makes sense because I had it all typed out once and it disappeared -PMO!!!!
