Does anyone have titanium dental implants, or had them? Are they harmful?

Thank you so much JES, I really appreciate your input. I have been doing so much reading on the titanium and it does seem very good though I'm still researching. They say that titanium dioxide forms which helps to stop the titanium leaking out.
This study mentions it: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7560357/
Zirconia implants sounded good but there is so little research on them compared to the titanium ones.
It's very interesting how your root canal was not affecting you too much either way, either with it or after removal. I do agree that how your body handles bacterial infection is really important.

My dentist doesn't think there is any problem with the titanium, and since he does the implants himself, he would definitely hear back if it was.
