I’m only waking up about 3-4 hours a day and seem to not be eating enough. Does anyone have advice on what to do?

My doctor recommended ensure when I am too tired to eat
I can't agree more (tho my favorite nuts are walnuts, pecans and pistachios)! That Ensure/Boost stuff is full of crap.I keep a bag of dry roasted peanuts no salt, I add a quick dash of sea salt which is way less than they'd have pre-salted) at the ready for my really really bad days. They're incredibly healthy, good fats, 9 gms of protein in half a cup, and filling. They have numerous health benefits. Mostly, they're easy. About two handfuls and you're done. That along with more water than usual generally does the trick ....
I'm with @Rufous McKinney .... not only are all the meal replacement drinks loaded with 3 or 4 kinds of sugars, mostly HFCS (which is dreadful for you) ad other forms of invert sugar, they're also loaded with aspartame and other nasty inducers of anxiety and diabetes.
