Doctors and politicians about the ME/CFS scandal

I think they must be referring to the standard 20th century way of treating ME/CFS patients? o_O
I think it goes way far back than the 20th century and extends its devastating effects into the 21st.

Most diseases (even more so if they have a large female predominance), have in general been treated with a mix of paternalistic neglect and full blown persecution.
Nowadays it's called and referred to as gender medicine.

We PwME and our true specialists know better and deserve better than gender medicine, psychosomatic disease labeling and strategic differentiation between female with CFS and males with ME (this last astounding lie has been recently written and sustained in Italy in a document presented on March 25, during a meeting in Rome. This guide lines are based on studies based on the Fukuda or Reeves criteria!).

I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I needed to state what I stated above.
