Problem with that idea is that you then need to take into account people looking at this thread multiple times, and also search engine robots "views" would probably count as well, at time of posting this there were 61 robots active on this site.
But it's always the same battle with fundraising, to get more people to donate, even just a small amount.

Am kinda surprised it's not fully funded yet. There are only 708 donations, and this has been promoted pretty well on a lot of channels. I think david can leave up the fundraiser and it doesn't come down on a certain date. Will say it to him.

Just to give you an idea, my short interview has 261 views on YouTube.
I don't know what percent of thread viewers would have watched it but it's certainly not a lot of views!

The other thing we don't know is how many people have donated directly.... it's possible he has significantly more funding than we know about (fingers crossed)!

Sorry, very foggy! But people like to donate in their own currency, they do not know how much their credit card will charge for exchange rate or even if they can make a donation in dollars using a UK credit or debit card.
People see requests for a donation in dollars and think 'oh, I don't knoe how to do that' and shy away. They do not know that it all happens automatically so don't try.
Don't know if it's possible, but if someone UK based started a crowdfund thing that raised funds in uk pounds I think it would get more donations and help towards last push.
Way beyond me though, sorry.
