well the good thing, cortical is supposed to spike in the AM, most of us are spiking all night, and either keeping us awake or not letting us sleep.... so, i guess call yourself lucky? ;) it could be way worse... maybe take some herbs to lower corisol at 4a???

I'm getting the sense that you're getting bits and pieces of information.

Do you have anybody (ideally, your doctor) who can help you by putting all of these fragments into some significant context for you ?

I wish you peace, health, and strength.

If you want to be sure if it's cortisol waking you up at 5am ten you should do a 24-hour cortisol saliva test.
Preferably with one extra measurement right when you wake up.

It doesn't necessarily have to be cortisol, an (nor)adrenaline surge can just as easily wake you up. Histamine is also a powerful wake promoter.
