Even a relatively small soda habit can lead to bad consequences. This study concentrated on sodas - feeding sugar water to mice - then factor in all the other sugar which many consume - we all know sugar drives obesity and diabetes, and even Alzheimer's. This may help explain why it's hard for many to kick the sugar habit.
