Since prednisone helped you, did you test positive for any autoantibodies or inflammatory markers?
No, at least not yet. Inflammatory markers like ESR and CRP always come back normal. And a rheumy did test some autoantibodies (to rule out Hashimoto's, Lupus, Sjögren's etc.), but they were all negative.

But new autoantibodies are found like every minute, and there are so many of them already, so I wouldn't be surprised if I will test positive in the future. The so-called Early Sjögrens Autoantibodes ('Sjo'-panel) isn't even available in Germany yet. I'd like to do the Celltrend-panel but don't have the money atm.

Thank you for the advice and informatiom btw!
You're welcome and I hope the infos will prove to be true (am not a doctor...).

I know I ask this to a lot of different people, but if my ESR, CRP, WBC, protein and other autoantibodies are elevated without any evidence of infection, does that sound more infectious or autoimmune to you?

You tested positive on 2 autoantibodies, that are very specific for autoimmune disease. Medscape says:
"Normally, no acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody exists in the bloodstream."
(Link here)
So my guess would be autoimmune. But who knows? The docs will tell you.

@Lisa108 You might want to check the lab „Labor Erde Berlin“. They are testing some of the ABs from the Celltrend Panel (not all..but I think the most important ones) for less than half the price of the whole panel at celltrend.
