Chimerix CMX001 a new promising antiviral used successfully for CMV and maybe CFS/ME

Has anyone heard about interest in trials for CFS/ME using Chimerix CMX001 anti-viral drug? It seems ideal???

Yesm, Cort wrote an article about it a couple months ago. Seems really promising. Less toxic than Vistide and going deeper in the tissues.

I think the last thing I saw and I believe it was the article Cort had authored which did not give much faith in the company testing it for CFS/ME. They seem to be strictly targeting CMV in transplant patients. I could very well be wrong and please keep looking for a definitive answer, but this is sticking in my mind for some reason.
